The Honma T-World GS Irons apply the gain speed philosophy for mid-range swing speeds more than any other iron. A new, wider L-cup face permits greater flex across the span of the face for faster ball speeds and vertical slots with uneven thickness improves spin control and mis-hit performance. A 6g portion of high-density tungsten is positioned inside the irons cavity, slightly towards the toe, producing high and long ball flights and improved MOI for added stability and forgiveness. A thicker sole plate is fitted to the 8-11 GS irons, lowering the centre of gravity for high launching short irons. A rear cavity undercut allows the irons to flex and rebound efficiently for more speed.
