MK123 CLANDESTINE MI6 SPY SET from COLD WAR ERA

MK123 spy set from the Cold War era. The serial number is #123926 which identifies it as being one of the later radios, issued by MI6. The set is in good, but not mint cosmetic condition. The tiny screws that secure the case to the chassis are missing, so the grey outer case will lift straight off. I never got around to sourcing some suitable imperial thread screws to replace them and it was handy being able to access the internals easily. By the way, the insides look all original and un-modified. I have had noises coming from the receiver. Cannot test the transmitter as I don't have any crystals. I can tell you that when the MK123 is switched to transmit, the tuning light does glow. That is the limit of my testing and because of the age / fragility of this kit, the sale is strictly "spares or repairs" The radio comes with its mains lead and the all-important condenser reforming module. There is also an original set of earpieces, but they are a bit grubby and I certainly wouldn't fancy using them! Finally, a copy of the full handbook is included on CD-ROM.
