Rare and original Antique WW1 US Navy Gun Sight, Mark XI (11), Mod 6.
Dated to approximately 1915, this historical piece was typically used on 3-inch and 6-inch broadside naval guns during World War I.
- Material: Solid brass with worn original black paint finish. The paint could be stripped and the brass polished by a future owner if desired.
- Serial Number: 4811, stamped in two locations.
- Features: Includes the original lens cover and internal lens crosshairs.
- Dimensions: Measures 58cm in length.
This item is in good used condition, displaying expected wear, marks, and scratches consistent with its age and military history. It is in working order, though the lenses are dirty and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. Please note that a few small screws are missing.
