Description
A matched pair of Messenger brass oil lamps, featuring duplex burners with key-operated gallery raisers.
- The burners are bayonet fitting and have been professionally overhauled and rewicked.
- One burner's wickwinder button is marked 'Harrods London', while the other is marked 'A@NSC Ltd'.
- Fitted with quality reproduction tulip shades: one ruby red edged and acid etched, the other green edged of the same size and type.
- All brassware has been meticulously cleaned and highly polished.
- One lamp has a small, hardly noticeable reinforced repair to the bottom edge.
These are a very nice pair of quality-made duplex oil lamps, standing at 21 inches overall height.
