3x Antique/Vintage Wooden Boxes Lot Victorian Marquetry Puzzle Box Restoration

This is a nice collection of three Antique/Vintage Wooden Boxes, likely dating from the late Victorian Era and/or the early 20th Century.

FOR RESTORATION. These items are sold AS FOUND and will require attention to be fully functional or display-ready. If you are seeking a pristine antique or vintage item, showing no signs of its true age, this collection is not suitable.

Included Boxes:

• Larger Box: Features beautiful Tunbridge Ware intarsio and a Mother of Pearl insert at the center of the lid. Hinges are in need of attention, and the lid does not close properly.
• Smaller Box: Has a detached lid and requires new hinges. Features Marquetry inlay at the top.
• Sorrento Ware Puzzle Box: Made in Italy, probably in the 1930s (an offcut dated 1925 is visible under the lining). The lid is detached. Includes new hinges with screws that need to be fitted. The lock with its key is present and in working order. To access the keyhole, you need to pull the central part of the case forward, which then loosens to reveal the keyhole. Hand-painted details are present on the lid.

Once restored, these boxes could be used as Haberdashery / Sewing Storage Boxes, Collector's Cabinets, Trinket or Jewellery Display Cases, etc.
