This is a lovely quality original antique Vizagapatam jewellery box, dating from the 19th Century.
It features intricate carved bovine decoration, likely bone and horn inlay, characteristic of Vizagapatam craftsmanship. The interior is also of great quality, and the carved feet are excellent. The underside is also in good condition as shown in the photos.
